HOUSTON (Parlay Game) – James Harden scored 28 points, ending his 32-game series with at least 30 while the Houston Rockets beat the Atlanta Hawks 119-111 on Monday night.
Houston broke the eight-point three-point record for Hawks rookie Trae Young, who had 36 points.
Harden came back after missing Saturday's win against Golden State because of a neck injury. His series of games with 30 points or more is the second longest in the history of the NBA behind a 65-match Wilt Chamberlain series.
Harden, who said he was still bothered by the neck problem Monday morning, missed the 10 shots he had attempted. He scored 28 points with 23.3 seconds to go and had the ball in Houston's last possession, but did not attempt a half-court shot with the game in hand.

Chris Paul added 20 points and Eric Gordon scored four points with three points for 16 points.
